I started at Tsogo High School in 1986 (Grade 7, Std. 5 then) and left after grade 9 in 1988. Prior to that I attended Molapo Primary in Ga-Rankuwa Zone 2.

I hold a  B.Tech in Cost Accounting from Technikon Pretoria and a MBA from Tshwane University of Technology.

Currently, I am a Director in Finance at the National School of Government. My job entails budgeting, forecasting, analysis & interpretation of financial statements, monthly & annual reporting. Training on financial statements.

I am married with 3 kids  and I am currently studying towards a D. Tech in Business Administration at TUT.

I am also a motivational speaker and I mentor young girls. I have a personal project where I put a girl child through tertiary every year. So far I have put through 4 in total. Two of them have completed their studies and the other two are still studying.

Tsogo Secondary had a total of 123 learners write the NSC exam. 120 passed. Of those who passed, 73(+8 from 2012) Obtained pass with Admission to Bachelor Degree , 39(+7) with Admission to Diploma and 8(-1) with Admission to Higher Certificate.

I started at Tsogo High School in 1979 and finished in 1980. Prior to that I attended a number of other institutions. First Lekgalong Primary, then Kgaugelo Higher Primary, after Ga-Rankuwa High School  (aka Top –  closed during student riots of the 1970s)

After finishing High School, I completed a MBCHB degree at the Medical University of South Africa (MEDUNSA), now known as a campus of the University of Limpopo. I work and run a primary health care centre known as Wisani Medical Center. I started the centre with my husband and partner, Dr VG Marivate, in 1995. Health services are offered for Ga-Rankuwa and other surrounding communities.

Motlalepula Phakedi (Society Chairperson and Class of 1997 alumnus) presented on careers in Information Technology and Systems. Ms. Phakedi represented Gijima AST.

Tsogo Secondary School along with The Tsogo Alumni Society are planning the Tsogo Career Expo for 2013. The Career Expo will be held on Friday, March 8th 2013. So save the date.
